Yaron Hadari, Ph.D.

Vice President, Research

Yaron Hadari joined Kolltan in 2008 and is the company's Vice President of Research. Dr. Hadari brings to Kolltan extensive experience in the discovery and development of monoclonal antibodies. Prior to joining Kolltan, Dr. Hadari was the senior director of the Cell Biology Department at ImClone Systems, Inc. At ImClone, he oversaw several early-stage and late-stage projects aimed at developing monoclonal antibodies as anti-cancer therapies. During his academic career, Dr. Hadari focused his research on the important biological role of receptor tyrosine kinases and their downstream signal transduction pathways. Dr. Hadari received his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Molecular Cell Biology at the Weizmann Institute of Science, Rehovot, Israel, where he studied and characterized the insulin receptor signal transduction pathways. Thereafter, Dr. Hadari joined the laboratory of Dr. Joseph Schlessinger in the Pharmacology Department of New York University Langone Medical Center. At NYU, Dr. Hadari studied the biological role of select receptor tyrosine kinases in cancer and development. In addition to Dr. Hadari's Ph.D., he also holds a M.Sc. degree from the Department of Chemical Immunology at the Weizmann Institute of Science, Rehovot, Israel, and a B.Sc. degree from the Hebrew University, Jerusalem, Israel. Dr. Hadari is a member of the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR).
